Mowing
Frequent and regular mowing at the correct height promotes a deep root system and prevents weeds, insects, and disease. We encourage a mowing height of 2.5" - 3.5" depending on the grass. Grass clippings are recycled to return nutrients back to the lawn. Bagging of the grass is an option but at an additional cost. Our mowing services start in April and end in December. We average about 32 cuts per year, weather permitting, with fewer cuts in November and one final cut in December. Wide-cut walk-behind mowers are used to provide the striped pattern cuts that highlight the lawn appearance. Cut patterns and directions are changed with each cut to assure healthy grass growth.
Trimming
Using commercial grade string trimmers, your property will be edged and trimmed with each and every cut. This includes a thorough trimming around all home / building foundations, flower beds, trees, fences, retaining walls, etc.
Edging
Every service will also include a stick edging along driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and patios. A proper edging is an important part of the clean cut appearance every homeowner is looking for.
Blowing
Finally, to keep the property looking sharpe, our final cleanup includes blowing all debris and grass clippings out of flower beds and off of all hardscape surfaces such as driveways, decks, patios, and walkways.
